Training and Development

To support the development of a structurally healthy Motor Appraiser Trade, and to strengthen the motor claims market locally.

Over the last 40 years, LKK Auto Consultants has built a strong history in training and development.  In addition to the new NESS course, LKK Auto Consultants has conducted and engaged in various training and development initiatives.

In September 2024, LKK started facilitating the conduct of the surveyor accreditation course for the motor surveyors industry, in partnership with SCIAEA (Singapore Centre of Institute Automotive Engineer Assessors).

The course was part of the first time ever surveyor accreditation framework launched in 2024 by the General Insurance Association (GIA) and supported by SAAA and SCIAEA – the two key member associations for motor surveyors in Singapore.

Since 2015, LKK has been appointed as the regional training centre for automotive assessors by the established Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors (IAEA) in the UK.  We are authorized to carry out practical examinations for candidates who wish to attain competency with IAEA UK. The Institute’s official website can be found athttps://www.iaea-online.org

In December 2024, we conducted the Safe Handling of High Voltage Vehicle seminar for enforcement officers from the Traffic Police Department to equip them with knowledge on safe high voltage handling given their high frequencies as first responders to road traffic accidents.

In January 2025, the worldwide renowned Society of Automotive Engineers – Australasia (SAE-A) conducted its Crash Investigation & Reconstruction Course over 5 days at our training centre in Paya Ubi.  Participants from Traffic Police, Home Team Science & Technology (HTX), LKK and various consultancies attended and gained a thorough understanding of the methodologies and technical tools used in crash investigation and reconstruction, equipping them with the skills needed to handle real-world traffic accidents and contribute to road safety efforts effectively.

Our company trainers are also WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) certified, which is a national train-the-trainer credential that serves as baseline qualification required by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) for Adult Educators.
