Course Overview
This NESS training programme is designed to upskill and recognise automotive professionals in alignment with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the National EV Roadmap, which drive our nation’s transition toward cleaner-energy vehicles.
This programme not only equips individuals with the essential technical competencies for Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (EVs & HEVs), but also prepares workshops to achieve EV-readiness, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance environments for the growing EV population.
Developed for automotive technicians, workshop managers and engineers, this course builds capabilities across the domains of electrical fundamentals, high voltage systems safety awareness, EV and HEV battery management systems, charging management, and maintenance procedures. (might need to reword this part)
Each module progressively covers the fundamentals and maintenance preparation, diagnostics and functional testing, followed by post-maintenance procedures and documentation.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive the WSQ National EV Specialist Safety (NESS) Certificate from the Land Transport Authority (LTA), as well as 4 SSG Statements of Attainment.
